Chuck R. Craig, CFA

Chuck serves as a portfolio manager for the Claymore/Raymond James SB-1 Equity Fund, Big Bank Big Oil Split Corp, Claymore Equal Weight Banc & Lifeco Trust, and Claymore’s current line of U.S. and Canadian ETFs. He also oversees the screening, selection and development of many of the firm’s unit investment trusts. Chuck previously served as Assistant VP of Equity Strategy Research at First Trust Portfolios. He received an MS degree in Financial Markets at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is Series 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65 registered. Previously, Chuck served six years at the White House Communications Agency while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Todd Byers

Todd serves as an equity research analyst and plays an integral role in the screening, selection, supervision, and development of the firm’s unit investment trusts. Todd is also involved in selection of securities for Claymore’s UITs of CEFs. In addition, Todd provides support and market updates for the firm’s sales force. Additional duties include daily supervision of outstanding UIT portfolios. Todd received a BS degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University, is Series 7 registered and is currently a level III candidate in the CFA program.

Tim Hall, CFA

Tim uses a fundamental investment approach to screen and select equity and fixed income securities for unit investment trust portfolios. Tim also provides market updates and portfolio support to the firm’s sales force. Additional duties include daily supervision of outstanding UIT portfolios. With financial services experience dating back to 1996, Tim previously worked as part of the Research Department at Calamos Advisors. Tim graduated with a BS degree in Finance and Economics from Augustana College, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is Series 7 and 63 registered.

Matthew T. Bryant

Matt is responsible for the selection and monitoring of closed-end funds for Claymore’s UIT of closed-end fund portfolios as well as supervision of outstanding portfolios of closed-end funds. He also provides research support and commentary concerning closed-end funds to Claymore’s sales team. Prior to joining Claymore, Matt worked approximately six years for Smith Barney where he analyzed professional equity and fixed income money managers. Matt received a BS degree in Economics and English from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Matt holds Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations.

Steve Starkovich

Steve is an equity research analyst and assists in the screening, fundamental research, selection, and portfolio construction of the firm’s unit investment trusts. With investment industry experience dating back to 1996, Steve previously worked at Calamos Advisors where he focused on growth equity research and portfolio construction. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS degree in Finance and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
